This is a magnificent Victorian plaque of carved meerschaum. It is as beautiful as the best ivory carving without having to use the tusks of a unfortunate elephant.
The allegorical carving is in the Greek twon of Chardia and portrays a woman and six putti. The piece is artist signed Schareiverk. It is in excellent condition with some yellowing on one of the putti which is part of the patima. This is a very rare and desirable piece.

This is a ticket for the Chrysler-Plymouth classic gold tournement at Navesink Country Club at Middletown, New Jersey dated May 13, 1987. On the back of the ticket it is autographed by Joe DiMaggio and Nancy Lopez, who play in the tournament. It is in excellent condition and has been kept in a plastic bag since 1987.
