Manufacturer: Hans Frei
This is a wonderful bronze figure of a mother monkey hugging her baby. It measures 4"h and is bolted to a wooden base. It is in excellent condition. The piece is artist signed Hans Frei who was a Swiss bronze sculptor and engraver born in 1868. He worked in Switzerland, Vienna and Paris and won many awards, including a bronzed metal at the Exposition Universelle in 1900. His works are in the collections of museums. |
