This exceptional Paris plate was decorated by Feuillet on Rue de la Paix, c. 1840-1850. Feuillet was one of the best commercial painters of the first restoration period, and this is a rare example of his work.

The plate is 9 3/4". The flower painting on the center of the plate rivals that of Meissen and Copeland's Hurten. The border is green with three floral cartouches with raised gold flowerson each side. Excellent condition.
