We love the figures made by Ernst Bohne! Ernst Bohne Sons, Rudolstadt had a porcelain studio from 1901-1960s. He made lace figures in the Dresden style. Many of his figures were heavily glazed with brilliant colors, such as these are. This figure group is a gypsy boy catching coins in his hat and a girl putting a coin in her purse. The tallest point is 7 1/2". The colors are vivid and the facial features are wonderful. Excellent condition. |
