This is part of a rare collection of 18th and 19th century boxes we just acquired from a collector in Pennsylvania. This 18th c. soft paste French box is unmarked. It is in two parts and measures 1 1/4"w x 1 1/2"h. The lid has hand-paitned flowers with gold trim. It is in very good condition with some crazing. One small flea bite is on bottom rim.
