Manufacturer: Limoges Le Tallec
This is a wonderful rare Limoges Le Tallec cup and saucer dating c. 1976. Le Tallec is one of the best decorating studios in Paris, now working exclusively for Tiffany & Co. The cup is 3 1/8" x 1 3/4"' the saucer is 4 1/2". We think this set is in the Marie Antoinette pattern. This was originally created by Sevres for Marie Antoinette. The pattern includes all of the flowers loved by the Queen. The set has floral cartouches and gold roses on cobalt blue. It is in excellent condition with minor gilt rubbing on the edge of the rim. |
