This is a beautiful set of four Dresden plates decorated by F. Hirsch, c. 1901-01930. The blank was made by Hutschenreuther, and they were made speical for Ovington Bors., NY. Two plates have Hirsch marks, one has the Hutschenreuther impressed mark, and one has the Ovington mark only. The plates are 8 3/4" with a lovely gold border. The center has a very well painted courting scene framed by a garland of flowers. They are in excellent condition. |
