This lovely Meissen set is pictured in our book, Meissen Porcelain, on page 112 and lists for $250-300. The set is first quality. The saucer dates from the Marcoloni period 1774-1817. The cup was made at a later time but matches perfectly. It has a square handle and is 3" x 1 7/8"; the saucer is 5 1/4". The set has an unusual Indian pattern and is in excellent condition. There is a minor kiln mark inside the cup. |
