This is a beautiful and rare Carlton Ware set dating c. 1920s. The set included a demitasse pot (7"w x 8"h), covered sugar (4 1/2"w x 4"h), creamer (4 1/4"w x 3 1/2"h), six cups (2 1/2"w x 2 1/2"h) and six saucers (4 1/4"). The cream luster set has a lovely enameled Asian pagoda and flower pattern. It is decorated with rare jeweling and gilt. The set is in excellent condition with the usual crazing. One cup has a little staining. |
