Antique Royal Doulton two-handled vase with flo blue "Babes in the Woods" scene of children in winter. Made in England, circa 1880 - 1920. <P><P>
Measures 3 inches high and 5 inches long. <P><P>
Oval base. SHaped like a triangle, cut off in the middle, with angled sides and a pair of triangular, curved handles. Gold rim and highlights on handles. Front has a
winter scene with bare branched trees and snowy ground, with two little girls, snug in their coats, walking under a large umbrella, one carrying a wicker basket
under one arm. <P><P>
Marked underneath with Royal Doulton green mark of a lion over the ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND circle, indicating that the vase was made after 1880 and before 1923. <P><P>
Very good condition. No chips/cracks/damage/restoration of any sort. |
