Antique 18 carat gold and plique a jour enamel ring. Believed made early 1900's - circa 1920.<P><P>
Size slightly over 4 1/2 US. <P><P>
A pair of hearts / leaves in contrasting red and green plique a jour, set in gold cells. THe design curves around the finger, with the heart/leaves bending and twisting, adding to the interest and play of light through the enamel. The ring is hallmarked twice in the band - one mark clearly reads 750 (which we confirmed by testing the gold for 18 carats) and the other mark is too small for us to read (shown highly enlarged in the 'photos, but still not clear).
