The bulbous tapered base and wide flared mouth are a signature of several of the great manufacturers of the 1930s. The apple green vessel has a bright cased spatter pattern, with a magnificent sapphire blue applied handle, which was another Kralik trademark. This is truly a unique piece, and is circa 1930-1940. Has a white interior with a spangled glass center layer and a clear outer layer. Colors are wine red, pink, yellow, and blue. Has an applied thorn handle. There is damage on one side of the basket where the handle meets the body ~ a chip to the white and spangled layer (can be seen in photo #3), two cracks 1/2'' long each on one side of the handle and one crack 1/2'' long on the other side of the handle, and one thorn is chipped.
