A beautiful mahogany tilt-top candlestand, or table, with ring turned support and snake tripod feet. Diameter of top: 20 inches; height with tabletop in down position: 30 inches. Chippendale-style; maker unknown. The legs appear to be attached with screws or bolts & then hidden with a wooden plug at the bottom of the post; possibly also glued. Plug has an impressed 'S'.
