DEPRESSION Era PITCHER w GOLD DECORATION This elegant pitcher is crystal with a gold floral band at the waist. There is also gold on the rim and on the applied handle. Capacity is 76 ounces. Height: 9 inches. This pitcher is in excellent condition with no wear to the gold ~ there are a few faint scratches on the widest part of the body, due to storage.

SIX Crystal SHERBETS with GREEN STEMS Sherbet, crystal, green. This is a set of six Depression glass sherbets. They have faceted crystal bowls and green stems. During the depression years, glass manufacturers started adding more iron oxide (commonly known as rust) to the glass mixture known as 'vaseline', and still included the Uranium Dioxide. This had the effect of making the glass more green. Because of this, most green depression glass will glow some, though usually not as bright as the yellow-green vaseline variety. WHEEL CUT 2-Handled CRYSTAL PLATE Plate, crystal, wheel-cut. This six-sided pressed glass plate has a lovely wheel-cut wheat decoration. It has two shaped handles. Width with handles: 8 7/8 inches. Condition is excellent with no center scratches.

Amber WHEEL CUT SALAD PLATE (s) We have four amber glass salad plates with wheel-cut floral decoration. In the center is a six-petal flower, which is repeated twice on the rim with leaf garlands. The bases are ground smooth, a feature of quality glass. Diameter: 7½ inches. Very good condition, with only very light knife marks or a few tiny nicks to the base. Circa 1940's. Price is for each.
