DANCING LADIES L. E. Smith BLACK AMETHYST VASE
Vase, black amethyst, Dancing Ladies. A 2-handled vase by L.E. Smith Glass Co., produced from 1928 to 1932. The ladies wear diaphanous clothing and dance with their scarves inside a stippled heart. Height: 7 inches. Hold the vase up to the light and you will see a beautiful amethyst color. This vase has some damage: there is a base chip 1/8'' in diameter on one of the corners, and one handle has a vertical crack at the bottom where it attaches to the vase. Both of these are on the same side of the vase, and surprisingly do not...

BLACK AMETHYST Glass VASE
Vase, black amethyst, L. E. Smith. A molded Depression glass vase by L. E. Smith with two demi-handles. There are two silver bands, one on the rim and the other on the body, which have slight wear. When held to the light black amethyst glass shows as lavendar-pink ~ just like the color of an amethyst gemstone. Height of vase: 6¼ inches.

L. E. Smith BLACK AMETHYST VASE Ca. 1930
A molded Depression glass vase by L. E. Smith with two demi-handles. There are three silver bands on the body, which have slight wear. Also the body of the vase has minor scratches. When held to the light black amethyst glass shows as lavendar-pink ~ just like the color of an amethyst gemstone. Height of vase: 6¼ inches. Very good condition, except as noted.
