BOYD'S Art Glass BIRD Salt & Pep SHAKERS 1990
A pair of bird salt and pepper shakers. Color is ‘Dijon Swirl’, introduced in 1990. Boyd purchased the Degenhart factory in 1978. These shakers were made by Boyd from an old Degenhart mold. All items at Boyd’s Art Glass ''are made the old-fashioned way, with a man and a mould and not with an automated machine.'' Each shaker has the following mark on the base: ‘B’ inside a diamond with two lines; circa 1988-93. Height with domed metal tops: 3 1/8 inches. Excellent condition.
