FOUR DRAW LEATHER Covered SPY GLASS
A four-draw leather-covered spy glass which is 42 inches when fully extended. Composed of four collapsing sections and an extendable glare shield. When fully closed, the black leather-clad section and glare shield measure only 12½ inches. The amount of light reaching the eye is adjustable by sliding a variable opening in the eyepiece. This spy glass is nickel-plated brass; we could not find a maker mark. The age of this well-made instrument is estimated to be early 20th century. Very good condition ~ there is minor wear to the leather.

Vintage SHIP'S WHEEL BAROMETER Germany
This fine old barometer is made of walnut and plated brass. The face is either enamelled porcelain or celluloid ~ we have not taken it apart to check. The form is a ship's wheel, with eight 'spokes'. There is a metal stand for shelf or desk, and a hole in back for hanging. Made by Linden, and marked, ''Made in Western Germany''. Condition: as far as we can tell, it is in working condition. This wooden test tube holder has four vertical sections connected by metal braces. Each section holds 10 tubes. When opened, the wooden sections tilt to a maximum of 45°. Diameter of holes is 18mm; length of sections: 9½''. Wood is mahogany. Very good condition! **SOLD**
