Dish, ceramic, Staffordshire, H. Alcock. This deep square dish is decorated with a nice floral transfer in yellow, pink, & brown, with a gold border. It has a shaped edge. Marked, ''Semi-Porcelain/ Henry Alcock & Co/ Cobridge/ England''. Size: 4 3/8'' square x 1'' deep. Has a small rim chip. This damage is reflected in our price. Circa 1885.

Crown Staffordshire TWO HANDLED Porcelain PLATE
Plate, porcelain, ca. 1931. This lovely Crown Staffordshire 2-handled porcelain plate is hand painted. Checks in three shades of green decorate the border; a multi-colored floral bouquet graces the center. Background color is cream. The RD number dates this piece to 1931. Dimensions: 9 x 10 inches. Very good condition.

This antique plate was produced by James & Ralph Clews of Cobridge, England. It has a floral transfer in black on an earthenware body. Diameter: 6 7/8 inches. There is an impressed backstamp, ''Clews/ (Crown)/ Staffordshire/ Warranted''. Very good condition - there is slight wear on the scalloped rim. Circa 1818-1834.

Romantic RED Transferware ACROPOLIS PLATE
This red transferware plate is in the ''Acropolis'' pattern and dates from about 1840. It was produced by an unknown maker in the Staffordshire region of England. Diameter: 9½ inches. This pattern is shown on page 177 of Petra Williams' Transferware book. It is a romantic scene of classical Grecian ruins with five people in the foreground. There is a lacey floral border and a beautifully scalloped rim. The plate has overall crazing, several knife marks in the center, two 1/8'' shallow chips on the back...

This beautiful celery dish is decorated with a 3-dimensional pink water lily at each end, forming two handles. Light green lily pads form the dish. This is a set of six porcelain tea plates with a floral transfer and hand painted cobalt & gold trim on a white background. The pattern is called, ''Spray''. Diameter: 7 inches. Marked, ''Spray 121/ Trade Mark (ship in circle) England/ W.A.A. & Co.'' There is an impressed Registry mark which dates to 1896. All are in very good condition, except for some minor crazing.
