This is a wonderful little toothpick holder from the Rosenthal Monbijou mold. This mold is known for its ornate scallops and scrolls. This toothpick holder (hat pin holder) is adorned with sprays of petite yellow flowers. It is marked with the R & C crown with crossed swords and the words Monbijou Bavaria. It is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever. Circa 1896 Rosenthal Factory Selb. It is 2 ¼ inches tall and 1 5/8 inches diameter.

This is a beautiful antique hatpin holder adorned with roses on a filed of green. It is hand painted and artist signed. Although it doesn’t have a Rosenthal makers mark this is undoubtedly from the Rosenthal Versailles mold. It is identical to the Versailles (muffineer) sugar shaker except that the hole has not been rounded out in the bottom for a cork stopper.
The paint and body of this hatpin holder are excellent however the gold top does have a repair that is shown in the additional photos.
