This beautiful pitcher is 5 ½ inches tall and 5 ½ inches from the handle to the spout. It is a beautiful cobalt blue with a medallion of Mount Vernon on one side. This pitcher was made to commemorate the bicentennial in 1976. This sauce pitcher is in mint condition.
These pitchers were made by Fostoria for Avon on the bottom of the pitcher is marked AVON. This piece and the other 2 in the set can be found in the book "Fostoria serving the American table from 1887-1986". This book shows a value of $15 -$20 per piece.
