James Whitcomb Riley Plate
Beautiful James Whitcomb Riley memorial plate.This year is the 150th anniversary of this American poets birth.A hand colored picture of his birth home is the center of this 10" plate.His name,Greenfield,Indiana and 1849-1949 is written at the base of the painting.The plate is white with a scalloped edge embossed with intricate designs.On the back is printed in black-Decorated by Delano Studios,Setauket,L.I.N.Y.and printed in green-Washington Colonial,Made in U.S.A..In excellent condition, without scratches, cracks or chips.

Homer Laughlin Collectors Plate-Church
Elegant and in mint condition, this plate is stamped in green,Eggshell Theme, Homer Laughlin and Made In U.S.A.10" in d., it is edged in gold and embossed with fruits and leaves.The center shows a labeled black ink transfer drawing of St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church of Cumberland, Indiana and dated 1855-1955.On the back of the plate is a history of this German church. No crazing, scratches, cracks or chips.

Homer Laughlin Eggshell Theme Plate
One of Laughlins special order commerative plate for the Louisianna State School for the Deaf. This one is 10" d. and in mint condition.The rim is edged in gold and embossed with fruit and vines.The picture of the school in the center of the plate is done in green.The green Eggshell Theme H.L. stamp with A55 N5 under it, the Louisianna seal,and World Wide Art Studios can be found on the back.
