Victorian Vanity / Dresser Box
A delicate dresser box with the brass mounting,hinge and clasp in perfect condition.It is 5-3/4" high and sits on three pedestal brass feet.The base is 5-3/4" in diameter and the attached lid is 4-3/4" in diameter.Three chubby cherubs are beautifully painted on top of the lid. They are surrounded with a cream color and a zig-zag painted boarder accented with flowers.The french green base has an olive green branch with leaves around the middle.An owners name is type written on very old tape and attached to the bottom.A superior item!

Trinket/Jewelry Box 1934
A young nursing student used this box to store her pearl uniform buttons in all through nurses training.Her note will accompany this sale.Fancy leaves and plants surround the base of the 4-1/4"l. and 3-1/2"w. silver over pewter box.The lid is embossed with four roses,buds and leaves and has a little red nob in the middle.The entire box stands approx. 2-1/4" high, including the lid. Inside is a perfect colbalt blue glass liner.The glass is stamped Japan and the metal frame is stamped Made In Japan.I have all her buttons!!

Marble Inlay Box
A beautiful little oval shaped marble box in shades of green and brown.It is 3-1/16" long and 2-1/4" wide by 1-1/8" high.The sides are reticulated and the lid is inlayed with mother of pearl and various colored marbles.The pearl makes up a pretty white flower with a red marble center.The marble inlay surrounding the flower are the stem and leaves in varying greens and peach colors.Condition is mint.
