Philatelic History Of The United States 1565 to 1806. This is The Philatelic History Of The United States, Volume 1, from 1565 to 1806 and includes 50 canceled issues. The envelope includes actual issue stamps with First Day Of Issue cancellation stamp including issue date, postal code and City, State and some black and white artwork. All but one envelope issues have 2 stamps except one. Also included on the envelope are the stamp title and Series, if applicable, and name/address to the subscriber (please scanned image for this information in detail). The envelope measures 7 1/2 inches by 4 inches. Each page has a mount for the stamp as well as a descriptive page opposite. In addition, there is a description card in each envelope of the stamp issues. This is by the Westport Collectors Society, Volume 1, 1976 to 1977. The album is bound. The album measures approximately 11 inches by 9 inches by 3 inches and includes a table of contents and index. The first 2 photos are general photos of album, third photo of the Table Of Contents, and remaining photos are of a few select stamps. The outer cover of the album has some damage but all pages and envelopes with stamps inside are in excellent condition. 07stamp001 |
