It has a sticker showing that it was sold at Niagara Falls, Canada. On the base is the oval Beswick stamp, along with the incised #812, and what look to be painter marks. Beswick Beatrix Potter Tree Lamp Beswick Beatrix Potter Tree Lamp that works! This Beswick Lamp base holds Jemima Puddleduck, one of the most beloved Childhood characters. It stands 16" tall with shade, 12" tall without the shade, and the porcelain part is 7.25" tall. It is in great working order, and the shade fits onto the light bulb. For protection during shipping, however, the light bulb will not be included in the sale. This lamp was produced between 1958 and 1982. The Beswick mark cannot be seen, as the lamp is mounted on a beautiful wooden base. There appears to be a tiny chip on the side base of the Jemima Puddleduck figure, but it in no way takes away from this wonderful, rare piece. I would not want to change another single thing about it!
