Ceramic Arts Stidop Comedy & Tragedy
Ceramic Arts Studio Comedy & Tragedy date from 1950 and represent some of Betty Harrington’s best "Theatre Art" work. They are each 10" tall, and each has the Ceramic Arts Studio mark on the base. This set is considered "hard to find" by the Ceramic Arts Studio Collectors Group. There is one chip, which I’ve just discovered, on the edge of Comedy’s right shoulder. It can be seen in the close-up picture. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs. Otherwise, they are in excellent shape. The pair books for $200 in the Ceramic Arts Studio, Legacy of Betty Harrington book by Schiffer, but the hard-to-see chip brings the price down to $135, a deal hard to pass up!
