Royal Doulton Miniature Fat Boy Character Jug Royal Doulton Fat Boy miniature character jug is 2.5" tall and carries the Royal Doulton A backstamp on the base. It was produced between 1940 and 1960 when it was discontinued. Joe, the Fat Boy, was the lazy glutton who worked as servant to Mr Wardle in The Pickwick Papers. This Fat Boy is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. He’s wearing a blue shirt, with a white scarf.

Royal Doulton GRANNY Character Jug This character jug is large, at 6.25" tall. It was discontinued in 1983. It's in great shape, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The work on this piece is exquisite, with so many wrinkles on Granny's face. (Must sell her before starting to compare number of wrinkles!) The handle contains pink, blue, green and cream, while the colorway is dark gray and white. This piece also contains dark green, light green, and red.

Royal Doulton - Old Charley Character Jug This neat character jug, discontinued in 1983, is 5.5" tall. It depiects Charlie, the watchman who originated during the reign of Charles II and was named after him. Old Charleys enjoyed a history of almost 200 years, before being replaced in the early 1800s by a version of the present day policeman. This Old Charley was designed by Charles Noke, and it is free of chips, cracks and repairs. It's in excellent shape.

It has the Royal Doulton Mark on the bottom, but not the name of the piece which makes it quite interesting. Royal Doulton Character Jug - Dick Turpin Here's the small Royal Doulton Character Jug of Dick Turpin. Dick (1705 - 1739) joined forces with fellow highwayman Tom King, whom he accidently shot. Before he died, King betrayed him, and Dick Turpin was hanged in 1739 for the murder of an Epping Forest Gamekeeper. This character jug is 3.5" tall and in excellent condition.
