Mortens Studio Miniature Collie Mortens Studio miniature collie is a tiny masterpiece that is 2" tall and 3" long. He has the Mortens Studio mark on the base. He is in excellent shape – from the tip of his tops to the top of his ears. There are no chips, cracks or crazing – a condition which is hard to find in Mortens Studio.

Mortens Studio Beach Children Mortens Studio beach children – girl and boy bathers – are 7.25" tall and were produced around 1950; each carries the Durostone, made in the USA, Mortens Studio sticker on the base. She carries a beach towel and brush, while he carries a long-handled brush. Each has the © The Mortens Studio inscribed on the side of the base. These children are rare, and that is not a word that I use lightly. Mention of them does not even appear in the Mortens Studio book by John Cox. Each is missing a little bit of paint here and there, but nothing that detracts from their appearance. There are no chips or crazing. They are in excellent shape!

Mortens Studio Cat Mortens Studio cats are few and far between, but this is one of them. He is a brown Tabby Persian, sitting, and is 3.5" tall. He has the Mortens Studio mark on his base, and he’s free of chips, cracks or any other damage. He’s in great shape, from the tip of his nose to his perky little ears, and down to his details paws and tail.

Mortens Studi miniatuare cocker spaniel Mortens Studio miniature cocker spaniel, red/brown, is a mere 2.25" tall and 3" long. He’s full of details, however, and has a beautiful face, along with the Mortens mark on the base and the Royal Design by Mortens Studio foil sticker on his back. He is perfect! There are no chips, no cracks, no missing paint. These little miniature fellows are hard to find. I’ve seen a few in 15 years of collecting, and I’ve bought them all! But now it’s time to begin parting with them.

Mortens Studio Collie Mortens Studio Collie is 6" tall and approx 7.5" long. Produced in the 1950s, he’s in extra excellent shape, and he sports his Mortens Studio copyright sticker on his tummy. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Truly a delightful dog, with a pink tongue and intelligent eyes.

Motrtens Studio Pointer Puppy Mortens Studio 4.75" long pointer pup dates from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. He has the gold and green Mortens Studio sticker on his side, and the black circular Mortens Studio mark on the base. He has some damage on his front paws, but it takes a keen eye to see it without a magnifying glass. Otherwise, he is free of chips, cracks, crazing and repairs, which is difficult to find in Mortens Studio. He’s an unusual dog for this line, and he’s looking for a good home.

Mortens Studio Bengal Tiger standing Mortens Studio Tiger is 12" long and 6" tall. The Mortens Studio sticker is on his tummy. He’s in excellent shape, with a little crazing and a few flakes on his head, shown in close-up pictures. There are no chips. Great attention has been given to detail, showing the whiskers, teeth, and pinkish/purple tongue. Perfect for your den, coffee table, showcase or present. He dates from around 1950 and is made from a plaster type material reinforced with metal.

Mortens Studio Doberman
Mortens Studio Doberman is 6.5" tall, sitting down. His finish is very glossy, and he dates from the 1940s or 1950s. Overall, he’s in excellent shape, but there is some damage on his head and ears. There are small chips missing from the top or each ear, and there are hairlines around and between the ears. The rest of him is perfect. He carries the Mortens Studio mark on the base, and because of the damage, he’s been priced at $52, instead of $80.

Mortens Studio Persian Cat, standing Mortens Studio Persian Cat is 4.25" tall and full of charm. He dates from the late 1940s or 1950s and has long since lost his Mortens Studio sticker. There can be no doubt, however, that this cat is vintage Mortens Studio. There are some imperfections, but they are difficult to see. There are 2 minute chips on the ears, a larger 1/8th chip on the tail, and a crack that goes completely around one of the front legs. But he has the sweetest expression, and Mortens Studio cats are very difficult to find. I’ve tried to price him right.

Mortens Studio Child Candle Holder Mortens Studio child candlestick holder is 3"tall and full of charm. On the base is a sticker which states that she is a Royal Design by The Mortens Studio. Overall, she is in excellent shape, with some crazing and glaze pops only on the end of a few toes. There is no other damage, and she has a most delightful face. This little sculpture makes you smile.

Mortens Studio Cocker Spaniel Mortens Studio Cocker Spaniel dog is 4" tall and dates from the 1940s or 1950s. It was made of plaster, with a metal frame and a high gloss finish. He carries the Mortens Studio stamp on his base. Unfortunately, there is a little boo-boo on the very tip of his nose, which is hard to spot. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks or other damage. He’s a real cutie in overall excellent condition.

Mortens Studio reclining Deer Mortens studio deer is just over 3.5" tall, and it has an inscribed Mortens Studio on its back, around the base. This is the first marking like this that I’ve seen. Most have their Mortens Studio labels. I believe that this was one of the first pieces produced by Mortens in the last 1940s. And it is in superb condition! There are no chips, cracks, glaze skips, or anything! It’s perfect!

Mortens Studio miniature Collie Mortens Studio miniature Collie is 2.5" tall and 3/5" long. These were made in Chicago over a wire armature. This one is in very nice condition with no obvious defects that I can see. No chips, cracks or other damage. The Mortens stamp is on the base, and he’s in excellent condition, ready to travel to his new home.

Mortens Studio Chestnut Horse Mortens Studio Running Horse, 4" X 5", is a beautiful deep Chestnut color, dating from the 1940s. He has the Mortens Studio copyright sticker on his tummy, and a partial sticker on his side. He is in excellent, perhaps mint, shape. There is no crazing. There are no lines or chips. He has a fine, high gloss and a sweet face. He would be a treasured asset to any collection.
