Hunter, a Polland sculpture, stands just over 4” tall by itself, and 5” tall on unattached base bought in later years from Chilmark. Chilmark Buffalo Hunt by Polland Chilmark Buffalo Hunt by Don Polland is #321 of 2250. This outstanding pewter sculpture was issued in 1976 without a walnut base which was added in 1978. It was signed by Don Polland in 1987. With the stand, it is 6.5" tall and full of details. There is no tarnish or damage. The stand is also in excellent shape and contains the Chilmark round inset identifying the piece. The piece is also marked in the pewter itself, and it was fully subscribed in 1980.
