This neat character jug, discontinued in 1983, is 5.5" tall. It depiects Charlie, the watchman who originated during the reign of Charles II and was named after him. Old Charleys enjoyed a history of almost 200 years, before being replaced in the early 1800s by a version of the present day policeman. This Old Charley was designed by Charles Noke, and it is free of chips, cracks and repairs. It's in excellent shape.
