Prior to Chilmark, there was Lance who partnered with Royal Worchester and entered the detailed miniaature scale sculpture market in 197l. Philip Krackowski, nationally known sculpture was their chosen designer. This piece, Holding Ground, now permanently retired, was issued in 1971. It's just over 4" tall and sits on a marble base. There were 1084 issued. It's in great shape, and looking for a home. The details are awesome! Don't miss this one, as they are extremely difficult to find.
