Friedel school girl is 6” tall and made of porcelain, rather than their normal paper maiche. On the base is the Friedel stamp, stating that it’s handegemalt in Germany – or hand made in Germany. This would have been prior to WWII. Apparently it was not made for export. There is a little crazing on the base, but none elsewhere. It’s so detailed that her slate shows that she’s been practicing her penmanship. No chips, and in great condition.
