Cordey Oriental figurine, not a bust, is 11.5’ tall and full of charm and detail. She has the incised Cordey mark on the base, along with 7 little green felt tips which shows that she has been handled with care. She dates from around 1942 and is in excellent shape with colors of ivory, rose, soft blues and greens – with a little red shoe peeping out. The base is nice and substantial, with decorations of gold gilt, and more decorations of gold gilt appear on her tunic. There are no chips or cracks. She’s in excellent shape, with a most beautiful face. She is definitely out-of-the-ordinary, and was made in the USA! |
