Beswick Dogs – Three of them – are actually puppies, and they were first issued in 1941. They are 2" tall and are light golden-brown, with black shading on their heads, legs, and paws. Their tails are a soft off white. Their backs are a light golden-brown. This variation may be rare, as only dark brown puppies are shown in the Beswick Animals book by Charlton. Beswick England, along with 917, is incised in the base. They are free of chips, cracks or any other damage. Just a cute little trio of dogs, sticking together through thick or thin. |
