Friedl, Little Boy playing a Bass Tuba, has the Friedel Bavarian mark on the base, showing that it was made in Eastern Germany and was hand painted. He’s 5/5" tall and full of charm. I love the way he’s been painted. There are no chips or cracks. There is an extremely light crazing on the bottom of the base. He dates from around 1947.
