It has a serpentine rolled crest and arm ending in fancy twist-wrapped rosettes. The back has curlicued panels and a fancy star pattern hand caned, contoured back.It has a set in cane seat, rolled skirting framed by a panel of loop-work and fancy twist-wrapped front legs ending in brass caps. Rare & Ornate Victorian Wicker Photographer's Bench This is a very rare and ornate Victorian wicker photographer's bench. It is asymetrical in design. The shapely crest is formed with curlicues & spools. The back is a fancy star pattern hand caned panel. One arm is woven flat with weave pattern changes and the other arm is rolled with decorative weave pattern changes. The arms end in fancy curlicue designs. There is stick & ball spoolwork under one arm. Elaborate use of beadwork, reedwork & curlicues throughout. Woven seat framed by braiding. Cane-wrapped cross stretcher and cane wrapped splayed legs ending in metal caps. Attributed to Heywood Bros.& Wakefield Co. Circa 1890's

It is shapely with elaborate design's throughout. It has a curlicued crest with a fancy hand-caned back panel. A scalloped edge forms a gallery against the woven arm which continues into the scrolled, woven seat, decorated with a woven diamond design. Cane-wrapped splayed legs end in brass caps.

Rare Natural Antique Museum Quality Ornate Victorian Photographer's Divan This is a very rare, museum quality Victorian photographer's divan. It has an asymetrical design. The crest is a serpentine roll that flows from the arm across the back, tapering and ending in a curlicue. The back is elaborate with ribbons and loop designs and fancy beadwork that gives the piece an oriental look. Victorian wicker pieces that retain their original green and natural finishes are rare and highly collectible. The reeds and beads were dyed prior to weaving. The cane seat is original. The post that supports the curlicue has fancy reedwork applied over the cane wrapping. The stretcher is cane wrapped and the cabriole legs have fancy cane wrapping and are adorned with beads and curlicues ending in brass caps. This wonderful Victorian photographer's divan retaining its original natural and green finish and its Heywood Bros. and Co. paper label. A piece of this rarity almost never reaches the marketplace. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a museum quality Victorian wicker photographer's divan in excellent original condition and finish.

Rare and Ornate Victorian Wicker Reception Chair This is a rare and ornate Victorian reception chair. The designs throughout this chair are elaborate and pleasing. The back consists of fancy panels of reedwork, curlicues, cross-hatching, beadwork and birdcage designs. This wonderful chair is heavy and very substantial. It has a shapely, set in cane seat. The front skirting is long and shapely with a fancy panel of beadwork and cross-hatching. The splayed legs are cane wrapped and adorned with curlicues ending in brass caps. This is a very fine example of a rare Heywood Bros. and Co. wicker chair with label. Circa 1880's.

Rare Ornate Victorian Natural Wicker Arm Chair This is a rare and unique natural Victorian arm chair. The unique aspect of this fine chair is the checkerboard pattern that was achieved through weaving green, bronze and natural reeds. The shape and style of this piece has a wonderful exotic Oriental look. The curlicued crest begins with a reed wrapped ball finial with alternating natural and green reeds. The back has a serpentine roll framed by braiding. Multiple weave patterns, beadwork, curlicues, birdcage and decorative cane wrapping add to the shapely ornate design. The seat is circular woven, rolling over onto the skirting. The front skirting connects the legs with beadwork, circles and braiding. The splayed legs are cane wrapped and embellished with birdcage designs and curlicues, ending in brass caps. This is a museum quality piece.
