Rare Ornate Victorian Wicker Sheet Music Stand This is a very rare and ornate Victorian sheet music stand. The gallery is a combination of stick and ball work,curlicues and cane wrapping. The top is wood framed by braiding. Three sides of the music stand are heavily decorated with applied musical notes and musical designs made of reeds over the woven caning. The cabinet has a fancy original brass knob. The interior has 3 original wood shelves. The skirting is decorated with curlicues. The legs are shapely cabriole design wrapped with caning and ending in brass caps. The fine craftsmanship is evident throughout this rare cased piece. It has a cane wrapped cross stretcher for extra strength. This is an extremely rare and delightful antique wicker cabinet. It would be a focal point in any room. Heywood Bros. and Wakefield Co. label

Rare Early Victorian Antique Gothic Stick Natural Wicker Sheet Music Stand This is a rare early Victorian wicker sheet music stand that retains the original natural finish. It is a fine example of early Victorian wicker design. This is a unique piece that would be a focal point in any room. The rattan is finely crafted into stick patterns.The top of this piece consists of long arched pieces of rattan that form the handle and provide posts that are embellished with curlicues and decorative cross-wrapping. The shelves are woven mattings. The bottom skirting is very attractive with various lengths of rattan forming a pattern. The piece ends in wood turned feet. This is a wonderful and rare example of Heywood Bros. and Co. early wicker design. Circa 1880's.
