This is a very rare Victorian natural wicker child's collapsible highchair. It has a unique mechanism that allows it to change to multiple positions. It has a fancy hand caned back and a set in cane seat. The metal wheels and shapely turned wood handle are special details. This is an oustanding example of an early Victorian collapsible natural wicker highchair. Attributed to Wakefield Rattan Co. Circa 1870's.
