This is a very shapely and ornate natural Victorian wicker rocker. The serpentine rolled edge is framed by braiding. Elaborate use of curlicues, beadwork and loop designs with serpentine rolled arms ending in fancy twist-wrapped rosettes. Latticework under the arms adds extra support. Set in cane seat. Fancy front skirting with beadwork and curlicues. Cane wrapped cabriole legs. Heywood Bros. and Wakefield Co. label. It is rare to find such a fine original natural finish.
