This is a very rare and ornate wicker pedestal fernery. The basket top is highly decorated with a basket weave pattern and applied blue ribbons and swags of pastel colored gesso flowers. The pedestal has lovely detailed Art Nouveau influenced applied leaf designs. The circular wood base is also highly decorated with applied ornate carvings. This unique and rare fernery retains a wonderful original finish. |
