| The set in cane seat has been replaced and will be stained a similar color to match the color of the wicker. Cane-wrapped cabriole legs end in brass caps. This photographer's bench retains the original natural finish and the original Wakefield Rattan Co. label. We have never seen this antique Victorian wicker photographer's bench in photos, books, or in person, so we regard this as an extremely rare and collectable photographer's prop. Circa 1880's. |
