Wood & Sons Brown/Blue Floral Butterpat Vintage c.mid-1800's butterpat, marked Wood & Son.England, Rd.No.745(rest is illegible). Brown floral spray transfer with blue accents. 2 5/8 in.square. Condition-minor wear of the gold border, has crazing, no bad stains, 1 corner has 2 cracks, a few crazing lines are dark which look like cracks at first but aren't, 1 glaze pop. Under the top edge is a chip which is glazed over, so it is a factory defect. A really nice piece despite condition problems!
