1892 Brilliant Diamonds of Poetry and Prose Titled Brilliant Diamonds of Poetry and Prose, by various authors. This edition date is 1892, originally published in 1883 by O.H.Tiffany, Edgewood Publishing Co.. Embossed and embellished fabric hardbound cover. Has some loose pages, looks like 1 section might be missing at the very back. Rest looks like it's all intact. Normal usage wear on the cover, especially on the edges and corners, has a few holes in the spine folds. Lots of great 19th c.literature and accompanying engraving illustrations. Several are about Abraham Lincoln. I'm sure this was an expensive book when published. Great for anyone who enjoys 19th c. literature!  

Sing Out the Glory by Gladys H. Carroll Hardbound novel titled Sing Out the Glory by Gladys Hasty Carroll. Published by Little, Brown and Co., 1957. I don't know if it is a first edition or not. Has the original dustjacket. Condition-no musty smell, has some acid discoloration inside the covers, the dustjacket has normal edge wear and on the spine. No fading or water stains. Looks intact. Story about a girl growing up in Maine in the country, and the effects on the area of the French woodsmen who come to log the area shortly after the Civil War. A nice addition to any library! Cock Robin and Jenny Wren Book c.1890's-1910's Paperback version of the classic story of Cock Robin and Jenny Wren. Undated, published by Donohue Henneberry and Co., Mother Hubbard series. looks like the title page is missing but otherwise it looks like it is all there. Has several chromolithograph illustrations. Has normal usage wear and creases mostly on the cover, one print has some surface scuffs (see detail photo), cover and 1 inside section are loose. British version, can tell by some spellings. There is light ghosting or reverse images from the inks, otherwise the images are wonderful and perfect for framing. They would look great as a grouping.
