Scammell Flow Blue American Hotels Berry Bowl Wonderful flow blue berry bowl, made by Scammell China, Lamberton. Brown mark. 5 in. diameter. c.1924-1954, but probably c.1920's-30's. No chips, cracks or crazing, just some utensil marks. The border includes eagle and shield motifs, a covered wagon, an Indian among other vignettes. 1 vignette is for American Hotels(rest is illegible but may be Corporation). Pacific International RR? Plate-Scammell-Nathan Strauss Logo possibly for the Pacific International Railroad operated by Great Northern, which ran between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. I couldn't find any other information though. 8 in. diameter. Teal green geometric band with black and rust-orange squares. Backmarked Lamberton Scammell China, Nathan Strauss and Sons New York. No chips, cracks or crazing, not a reproduction or fantasy piece. Does have utensil marks and places where the glaze is very thin. There is a scratch near the logo and a factory defect at the bottom where the decal didn't adhere right before glazing, also a few other scratches in the border. Priced according to condition.
