Manufacturer: Bakelite
Vintage Bakelite/Catalin floral necklace. Pendant is thick black Bakelite inlaid with pearlized something(I'm not sure if it's a plastic or oyster) and a gold metal, possibly brass, for outlining the inlay pieces. The colors are solid(not pearlized)cream, light bluish green and pink. Size is 2 5/8 in. wide x 2 3/4 in. high x 1/4 in. thick. Condition-no cracks, no edge chips except from the carving process, light scratching on the back, very minimal usage scratches on the glossy front, only one tiny tip of the black has a tiny chip which was probably done during the inlay process. Beads are all intact and undamaged. Colors are green, black, cream. Clasp is a gold finish metal fish hook style, intact and undamaged, just alittle age patina. Length of each bead side is 10 1/4 in., not including the clasp. Bead size is 1/4 in.small ones, 3/8 in.larger ones. I'm not a jewelry or Bakelite expert, so please ask any questions beforehand.
