Rottweiler Dog 1979 Picture History The origin of the Rottweiler dog is not a documented record. Once this is recognized, actual history tempered by reasonable supposition indicates the likelihood he is descended from one of the drover dogs indigenous to Ancient Rome. This drover dog has been described by various accredited sources to have been of the Mastiff type, possessing great intelligence, dependable, rugged, willing to work and with a strong guarding instinct.

These pages are from a 1979 AKC book that have been...

Rottweiler Dog Circa 1960 Rottweiler Dog. I believe that this little page is from a book that I would estimate by the pictures and description to be circa 1960s and from England. It measures approximately 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, does have some wear and would be great matted and framed. These also make great inexpensive trophies for your club events.
