Belgian Tervuren Dog 1979 Picture History
The Belgian Tervuren dog is one of the Belgian types of shepherd dog registered in Belgium and France as the Chien de Berger Belge. It is of common origin with the Groenendael and other types. The Tervuren resembles the Groenendael strikingly in conformation, but differs as strikingly in color.

Belgian Malinois Dog 1979 Picture History
The Belgian Malinois is one of the three types of Belgian sheepherding dogs registered in Belgium and France as the Chien de Berger Belge. It derives from the same stock described in the history of the Belgian Sheepdog which follows, but is traced back in Belgium only to 1898 when a specimen of this breed, a dog named Tomy, was the first to attract attention.
