Lakeland Terrier Dog 1979 Picture History
The Lakeland Terrier is one of the oldest working terrier breeds still known today. It was bred, raised, and worked in the lake districts of England long before there was a kennel club or an official stud book. The fact that it has been outstripped by many younger terrier breeds is not so much a reflection on its quality as a tribute to the scope f its working ability. In olden times the breed was known as the Patterdale Terrier.
This is a wonderful collectible with both a picture and...

The Lakeland Terrier dog comes from the rugged English Lake District where it is the sworn enemy of the fox, having been used as an earth Terrier with the local hunts. It is a fearless breed with a compact, practical shape.
This is a page from a rescued book that had seen much better days and would look just wonderful framed whether for yourself or as a breed club trophy. It measures approximately 7 1/2 x 8 inches.

Lakeland Terrier Dog Circa 1960
Lakeland Terrier Dog. I believe that this little page is from a book that I would estimate by the pictures and description to be circa 1960s and from England. It measures approximately 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, does have some wear and would be great matted and framed. These also make great inexpensive trophies for your club events.
