Brilliant and sapphires mens ring..
OBJECT GROUP : rings
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe it is of Belgian origin.
STYLE : Fifties (of the twentieth century)
PERIOD : 1950
MATERIAL : 18K bi-color gold (yellow and white), although most of this jewel is in yellow gold, the stones are set in white gold. This finds it origin in a much older period where it was common for diamonds to be set in silver (see explanationon silver on gold).
DIAMONDS : One modern brilliant cut diamond with an estimated weight of approx. 0.45 crt. (color approx. 0.45, clarity approx. i)
PRECIOUS STONES : Two taper cut sapphires(could be Verneuil)
BIRTHSTONES : Diamond is the birthstone (or month stone) for the month April
(common attributions to diamond) and sapphire for September (common attributions to sapphire)

WEIGHT : 11.10 gram (7.14 dwt)
HALLMARKS : Belgian origin since 1952 - We are sure of the origin of this jewel because the outer shape of the master mark is in the shape of a barrel (thatwas taken in use in Belgium since 1952) and the gold mark 730 (was shortly in use in the fifties)
CONDITION : Excellent condition - (our condition scale)
