From "Dorset-Rex" of Fifth Ave. a snazy silver metal weave and lucite lid box handbag from the 1950s ere. In good to very good condition. Some wear and minor scratches on metal weave and silver clasps. Translucent and pretty shaped handle. Exquisite gray marble look lucite top. The clasp is a hasp close. All red cloth inside with a cloth label that reads: "Dorset-Rex, Fifth Avenue". Measures 9 inches long, 6 inches tall, and 3 1/2 iches wide. A rather large purse. In good condition.

A pleasing forest green, soft, smooth, fabric box purse in good condition. Some slight overall fading, and wear. The gold tone fittings are scratched. Still a great piece. There is a snap front close that works perfect. Handle still in good shape. Inside there is satin lining and a mirror that has some loss of silvering but you can still use it. Sexy, sleek look. Measures around 11 1/2 inches long, 4 inches tall, and 3 inches wide. There is a gold imprint label that reads: "bags by Garay". Perfect for that rockabilly dress, costume theatre, or swing dance. In good condition.

The lid is handsome black and has some surface scratches, but again, not bad. Nice shape clear handle is in great shape. The latch works very well and has some wear. The bottom of this purse is clear translucent. Perfect gift for your rockabilly gal. Measures 20 inches around, and 3 inches tall. I see no label. Well made and darling. A super vintage purse.

Beautiful chocolate brown, suede velvet like fabric, vintage 1940s purse in very good condition. The picture looks somewhat black, but this purse is NOT black. Brown it is. Well made and still hardly used. Nice design on the outside. Cloth handle also. The gold tone closure is in great condition. Inside there is satin lining, a coin purse and the original comb that came with it. Measures around 9 inches long, 5 inches tall, and very roomy. A label reads: "Style-Art by Holzman". Great addition for your swing dress or WWll reenactment.

1950s PLASTIC OVAL VINTAGE PURSE w/ LUCITE
A alluring box purse with plastic and lucite from the vintage 1950s-1960s in very good condition. Some cleaning needed and some wear. Few surface scratches. Ever slight yellowing in just a few places on back. Nothing large. Oval shape with pretty little flower front. It appears the flowers are glued sand-like material on a sheet. This marbled and flowered "sheet" has been glued around the purse. In great condition. There are blue and gold paint design on this sheet also. Clear translucent lucite handle with carved design. Very nice. The lid also has carvings on both sides and is translucent. The purse itself is plastic and not lucite. The latch is a drop ball and works flawlessly. Measures around 8 inches long, 3 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. There are no markings I can see. Sweet and pretty little plastic purse. Perfect for your 1950s gal.

FABULOUS GOLD FOIL CIRCLE PURSE BEADS OH
What a splendid purse to sell. A round handbag with gold foillike and beadwork front. In good condition. The front has some missing work but if you look at the pictures, it doesn't take away from the purse. The foil is excellent and is only just now starting to show any wear and that is on the close snap. Again, take a look at the pictures. If those things were not there, I would rate this hangbag as very good to excellent condition. Charming and fascinating type of purse. A real winner! measures 6" tall, 7" at the center, and 4" wide. There is a label that reads: "Caron, Houston, Texas". The inside is very good condition except the mirror is messed up. Could be replaced but who needs it? A wonderful purse for your 50s dance or Prom. Even better for you collectors! In good to very good condition. Thanks.
