The pictures are horrible but this hat is drop-dead gorgeous red. Ladies vintage 1940s fedora in wool felt. Cute detail with ruffled edges and stitching on top. Bow and band are ornate also. Really nice. The pictures are really bad but this hat is really great! There is a label inside that reads: Knowlton, Fifth Avenue and another: Merrimac Hat Co. Please know your hat size for best fit.

1920s LADIES VINTAGE HAT CLOCHE FLAPPER SPEAKEASY An enchanting vintage ladies cloche hat from the 1920s era. Very wearable and needs only a little TLC to be fabulous. The fabric and detail are unique. If you look closely you can see all the tiny yarn threads that are woven throughout the hat. That is right. The design is done with thread and yarn threads. Three stars with circles around them and one one top! The brim is solid so you can grab hold and pull down over your eyes. Browns, rusts, and a taupe color base. A lot of time went into producing this hat. For your Gatsby, speakeasy, 1920s party, theatre, costume reenactment. The real thing. There is a cloth label printed: Regina Hats Frankel-Frank & Co. THE BRIM LOOKS GOOD NOW BUT IT SEEMS THERE WAS A PLUSH FABRIC AT ONE TIME, NOW WORN AWAY. ONE TINY SPOT ON BRIM. THE YARN AND TOP OF HAT ARE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. NOTHING CAN TAKE AWAY FROM THIS FASCINATING 1920s HAT.
